Therapy for Couples

2094446005Every day your relationship becomes more strained.

The distance between you is constantly growing, and bridging the gap feels impossible.

Fights are more frequent, and when you try to talk about your problems, it only seems to make matters worse.

You can’t remember the last time that you communicated with one another without it devolving into a series of misunderstandings, conflicts, and resentments.

You’re not sure how things got to this point.

There was a time when you enjoyed being with each other and shared every aspect of your life.

You laughed and discussed your feelings, thoughts, and emotions openly. Now, fun feels like a distant memory.

Every interaction is about kids, plans, or the logistics of your life. And intimacy has gone entirely out the window.

Connection is still possible.

Trying something new is scary, but you know in your hearts that there must be some way to salvage this relationship you’ve both invested so much into.

Ignoring your feelings and avoiding your partner aren’t sustainable coping methods.

You are ready to make whatever change is necessary to return to a place of connection, intimacy, and mutual support.

2247481947Let me help you find a better way.

In couples therapy with me, we’ll work on repairing past wounds and reconnecting with your innate ability to love and to be loved.

We’ll focus on learning to listen and see ourselves and others as their best selves rather than only by their limitations.

Using a blend of the Gottman Method (an evidence-based form of couples therapy focusing on friendship, conflict management, and creation of shared meaning), Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy, I will support you both to find a deeper connection with yourselves and one another.
